Photo Shoot

Mom and Dad took me to get my photo taken today. I got the time mixed up and used up my days worth of smiles in the morning before we got to the studio. The lady taking the photos proped me up on pillows in various poses. At one point she really cracked me up with her baby rattle... turns out the real show is every one behind the camera trying to get me to smile :)

My First Easter

You know, that's the great thing about being a baby... so many Firsts! Mom, Dad, Scooter and I went to Fresno for Easter. On the way down we had dinner with Diane and Jeff at La Favorita in Sacramento. The big people enjoyed some great and fast Mexican food topped off with fresh Churros, I got to play with Di and Jeff.

Saturday we visited my Great Grandma Mary and Great Grandpa Jerry. Uncle Steve joined us for lunch. After lunch Great Grandpa and Dad talked fishing rods and I showed off my sweet skills with a reel. I practice whenever I can and wanted to explain the finer points to Great Grandpa Jerry.

Went to Church for Easter, I only chatted a little bit and snoozed for much of the second half. The rest of the day was pretty low key. I hung out with Grandma Terri and Grandpa Tom. I am quite chatty, am perfecting my super cute grin and showed off my new past-time... drooling!

On a very sad note... my Great Grandma Amo passed away on Monday. I will miss having her in my life as I grow up but feel extremely lucky to have had a chance to play with her and to have sat on her knee. She was a very special and caring woman.

Out and about in April

This week has been lots of fun. On Wednesday, I went into San Francisco for the first time with Mom. We took the ferry which was a beautiful ride. We met with Andrea and Ethan and hung around in the Ferry Building for the afternoon... it was too rainy to do much else. Andrea and Ethan were so nice. Ethan showed me his beads and how to run and laugh like a big kid.

I also met a new baby on Thursday... Baby Caden who is brand-new and sooo tiny! He was kinda sleepy but very sweet. His mom and dad (Cascade and Matt) are very happy and doing well.

My first trip to NY

Last week I went to Wolcott, NY to visit my family. I was great on the plane and mostly slept or played with Mom and Dad. The only time I fussed is when we were running late... way past my second breakfast time so I was cranky when we got on the plane but calmed right down as soon as I got my snack.
It was so exciting to visit and meet every one. I got to hang out with two of my great grandmas. We had great fun getting to know each other they are so nice.

I also got to meet my Grandpa Steves and Aunt Tami for the first time. Grandpa and I played airplane and chatted quite a bit. I also showed him how I could use my slobber to dive bomb him. Aunt Tami made us a fantastic dinner and showed us her and Eddie's beautiful new house.

Grandma and Grandpa Steves also had lots of friends and family over for a party so Mom and I could meet the clan. Everyone was so nice and we had such a wonderful time. I just loved being held by all of the aunties and nice ladies who did their best to smother me with affection. I especially liked meeting my cousin Scout. When I get older we will be able to play more.

New look for my crib!

My great aunt Gigi made me some great bumpers for my crib. No more accidentally bashing my head into the wood when I dance in my crib. Meanwhile, I now have a bunch of cute Chinese cartoon characters to stare at before I go to sleep.

Here's another view me in my sweet crib with custom bumbers.

April Fools invade my home town!!

Went outside today on my usual walk to the post office with Mom, Dad and my dog Scooter to find a bunch of crazies walking down Main Street. Evidently, today being the first of April meant that the 2nd annual April Fool's Parade was happening in my home town of Occidental, CA.

The meyham worried Scooter a bit... he hid behind Mom and whined the whole time. Today my dog is 2, it's his birthday today so we wish he enjoyed the street party a bit more.

After about ten minutes most of the fools had passed and we were able to finish our walk.
