Carnival!

So, the rain and the sixty degree weather didn't deter us from having a blast at the school carnival!

Last year it was baking hot, this year we had a lot of it inside, because of the rain, but we still got to dunk our teachers in the dunk tank, eat an uncommon amount of sweets (thank you bake sale super stars) and play lots of games!  Me and Quinten were trying on some funky glasses!
We also spent this weekend at the Scandinavian Midsummer fest, where I got to make a fantastic crown of branches and flowers ... it was extra huge because it kept sliding bigger, so we would add more branches in a vain attempt to shrink it back down.
Scan fair was at Oaks Park so in addition to erecting the midsummer pole and all sorts of fun crafts, we also to to ride the go-carts (above).

Really, it was my friend Katie's birthday so we met up with her crew to help her celebrate.

Speaking of celebrating birthdays, we got to spend a great afternoon today celebrating our friend Matt's 50th(!!) birthday!  It was pretty serious.... an awesome balloon and juggling guy,

 A pinata
a cute cake with their vanogon
Did I mention the juggler... with fire!!

And Pip's doughnut truck with some Chai that Mom couldn't get enough of and doughnuts for days.

There was also a cool photo van that we got some fun photobooth pictures in.  It was super fun, and we were exhausted by the time we left!  Happy Birthday Matt!
